Focus T25 results!

I am going to record my focus T25 results here as I progress. I just finished my first week. I followed the fast track diet plan that came with it exactly and am so glad I did. I have been drinking Shakeology every day and feel amazing. I lost 5 yes 5 pounds this week and 1/2 inch from my waist and 1 inch from each thigh. I will be posting before and after pics half way through to show my progress! I am LOVING this work out I have burned 500+ calories each work out, this is truly the most effective workout in only 25 min that I have ever done!!

A Letter to my body

Dear Body,

First of all I want to thank you body thank you for sticking it out with me. I know I have done some pretty abusive things to you by not taking care of myself the way I should, I neglected you often thinking I should put myself last and everyone else first, not realizing in order to be there for my family I have to take care of you, but most of all thank for nurturing 6 babies so they could be healthy. You are amazing, that you have done this and you still continue to nourish my 9 month old.

I know I have not taken care of you as well as I should have in the past and I am making up for that now. I want to let you know I am committed to keeping you strong and healthy. I think now that I am older I will respect you more and care for you more. I know that there is a lot more at stake.

I have decided in order to keep you healthy I need to lose the rest of the pounds that I am asking you to carry. I asked you to carry more weight than you should be allowed for too long now, we have lost some of that weight, but there is more to go. WHY? Because  once it is gone then we can have more fun. Most importantly this is the only body that I have, this body is the temple of the holy spirit and God said I should take care of it. He blessed me with life so I should do as he said and not defile it with junk. I want to be an example to my
children and be around for them as long as possible.

I promise to do a much better job of taking care of you, not be so critical of you when I look in the mirror, I will keep feeding you healthy and put excercise at the top of my list. I will work hard to get and keep you healthy and strong. I will do this not to look good (even though that is a huge plus) but to be healthy, for you, my children and my family. I also want to pay it forward and help other people along the way. Thank you for hanging in there, we can do this we have God on our side and He gives me strength!

Oven Baked Fajitas


1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp seasoned salt
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel)
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, cut into strips
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into strips


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place chicken strips in a greased 13×9 baking dish.
In a small bowl combine the oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt.
Drizzle the spice mixture over the chicken and stir to coat.
Next add the tomatoes, peppers, and onions to the dish and stir to combine.
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
